Gift cards can be supported in your Paloma shop through a 3rd party Stripe application, called Gift Up.

In this guide we'll share how this works for your customers, and how to launch your gift card sales.

About Gift Up

Gift Up is a gift card provider that has all the tools to help customers purchase gift cards with your business, that customers can use in your Paloma checkout.

What to know:

  • Pricing for Gift up is 3.49% fee per gift card sold. You can set a service fee to charge customers at checkout to help cover that cost.

  • The checkout for buying a gift card, including the order history and gift card statuses, will be managed by Gift Up – outside of Paloma

  • Customers that receive a gift card will be able to use the gift card code in your Paloma checkout experience (with the Stripe billing form)

  • Paloma is not affiliated with Gift Up, so any issues related to the gift cards should be directed to Gift Up
